She was predeceased by: her husband Ramiro Garza; and her daughter Lourdes Garza (Firdous). She is survived by: her children, Ramiro E. Garza, Maria D. Garza, Patricia Garza (Kilbride), Blanca G. Garza (Rodenhauser), Angelica Garza (Torres), Julian R. Garza and Anna Garza. She is also survived by her family and was proud of her sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren.

Memorials can be made in honor of her youngest daughter to the Breast Cancer Association. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
