We announce the death of Mark J. Blum of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 75. Mark will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Blum and Jane Blum. He is survived by: his wife Annie Blum (Gutschalk); his children, Rachel Lott (Jim), Erin Shannon (Jeffrey) and Timothy Blum (Annie Diorio); his grandchildren, Lauren, Alex and Genevieve Lott; his children, Vienna, Matthew, Felicity Shannon, Marta and Mirella Blum; his siblings, Carol Osburn (Dusty), Ruth Laibe, Terry Haas (Dan), Steve, Rick and Roger Blum (Sue); and his in-laws, Martha Kummerer (Lou), Angie Mehling (Mike), Diane Gutschalk, Dave (Mary) and Mark Gutschalk (Jody). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Cursillo in Christianity, Sacred Heart Church, Galion St. Joseph Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
