With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Hines (Fremont, Ohio), who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hines and Edna Sewell; and his wife Dolores Hines. He is survived by: his siblings, Alan Sewell (Cathy), Windy Phillips (Charles), Henry Diane Martin, Patsy Carter, Josephine Carter-Fant, Trish Carter, Wili Carter, Dorothy Carter and Derrick Hines (Anita); his children, Denise Santos (Nelson), Blaine Hines (Carmen), Kimberly Spann (Larry), Jacqueline Barnett (Jamie) and Christian Hines (Angie); and his grandchildren, Stacy Root (Lee), Brandon Hines, Justin Hines (Brittany), Elias Jaiz Hines (EJ), Jeffrey Barnett, Alexis Barnett, Samantha Hines, Darien Spann (Lizzy), Taylor Spann, Jocelyn Hines and Cyrus Hines.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). The military honors will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
