She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Covert and Irene Covert (Perrin). She is survived by: her husband John Miarer; her sons, Rick Miarer of Fremont and Jeff Miarer (Tammy) of Fremont; her sister Betty Geroge (John) of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Cody, Katlyn Miarer, Cassandra Pitts, Paige Joseph (Garret) and Haley Miarer. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Memorials can be made in Jo's honor to Heartland Hospice or Sandusky County 4-H.
