We announce the death of Phyllis Roth of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 86. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward DeCant and Goldie DeCant (Carncross); her husband Kenneth L. Roth Sr.; her children, Kenneth Roth Jr. and Nancy Sluder; and her siblings, Mary Nusbaum, Eleanor Chio and Richard DeCant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Roth of Fremont, OH, Connie Gerogosian of Fremont, OH and Diane Hiser of Fremont, OH; her sister Kathryn Lowery; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Kenneth Sluder, Brittany Edwards, Nathan and Nickolas Hiser. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
