He is survived by: his parents, John E. Elkins and Vonnie M. Heidelburg; his children, JaNaja Liggins, Aviana Elkins, Taana Elkins, Rodney Elkins, Jr. and Soraya Elkins; and his siblings, Alicia Heidelburg, Consulea Martin, Christina Martin, Wendy Jones and Alan Elkins.

A reception will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420).
