With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Kane of Fremont, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Kane to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kane and Leona Kane (Detrick); his wife Donna Hauck; and his siblings, Marlene Naomi, Lamar, Delbert and Vernon.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey A. Kane and Martin L. Kane (Robbie); his granddaughters, Samantha Chavez, Abigail Adams (Jacob) and Marlena Wood (Nathanael); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Chavez, Jonah Chavez, Elyse Adams, Natalie Wood and Lydia Wood.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory (900 North St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations in Ron's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or to Heartland Hospice.
