It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Strohl of Fremont, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer Swartz and Barbara Swartz (Schmitz); and her husband Mark Strohl. She is survived by : her children, Kerri Moyer (Matthew) of Fremont and Shane McConnell (Angela) of Fremont; her grandchildren, Alyssa Dennis (Peter), Bryce McConnell (Kelsey), Blake Moyer (Hope) and Grant McConnell; her great grandchild Samson Dennis; and her siblings, Terry Swartz (Linda) and Karen Griffith (David).

Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to Stein Hospice.

“To Sue's family, my name is Lynette Kilgore Strohbehn from Audubon Iowa. My Dad Cpl Leon A. Kilgore & Sue's Dad Elmer were both members at the same time in Company C., 1/504th 82nd Airborne they were both in the Company C picture taken in Laon, France during WWII. Sue & I found out about each other being members of a 1/504th family web site. We conversed with each other a few yrs ago on Facebook & were so proud of our father's being paratroopers! Glad Sue is reunited with her Dad, God Bless”
