He is survived by: his wife Rachel Cooks; his children, Shaijan Cooks, Maycie Wolverton and Jalen Wolverton; his father Robert Lee Cooks; his siblings, Vrunder "BeeBee" Cooks, Destiny Clark, Robert Cooks (Janet), Keith Cooks, Latricia Gunn and Shahidah Siraaj; his great-aunt Lee Cooks; his brother McKinstry; and his uncle Chuck.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fremont Ross High School Preforming Arts Center (1100 North St, Fremont, OH 43420).
