It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia J. Smith of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manford Lemaster and Alka Lemaster (Castle); her husband James A. Smith; and her son James Robert Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Widman (Fred) of Fremont, OH; her grandsons, Clinton Smith of Gibsonburg, OH and Matt Dearth (Jessica) of Gibsonburg, OH; and her great grandchildren, Hannah and Allison Dearth.
Memorials can be made in Virginia's honor to Family Worship Center or Heartland Hospice.
