He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Anspach and Anna Anspach (Wyss); his wife Ruth E. Keller; his son James M. Anspach; and his siblings, Lucille Heid, Mary Ann Krauss, Lucy Dorfmeyer and John B. Anspach.

He is survived by: his daughter Candice Hampshire (Steve); his grandson Zachary Hampshire of Fremont, OH; and his sister Norma Harringan of Sandusky, OH..
