He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gardner and Ora Gardner (White); his wife Dorothy; and his sister Ollie Mae Gardner. He is survived by: his son Dennis Gardner; and his siblings, Elester Gardner, Janie Sims-Royster, David Gardner, Anthony Gardner, Trina Newell and Claria Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in Willie's name may be made to the Gardner family, in care of his brother, Anthony.
