Karen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph M. Marks and Elizabeth A. Marks (Hughes); her husband Charles "Charlie" Deffenbaugh; her son Larry Deffenbaugh; and her siblings, Diana Good, Penny Marks and Tom Marks.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Deffenbaugh Sells of Coshocton, Heather Wright of Fresno, Scott Hayes (Mandy) of Fresno and Willie Hayes (Ashley Mardis) of Fresno; her grandchildren, Amber Sells, Heather Sells, Brandon Roberson, Elizabeth Lintz, Kevin Lintz, Brice Hayes (Kyra), Allie Dart (Jonathan), Nicole, Nicholas and Taylor Hayes; and her sister Grace Wiggins of Coshocton. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
