We are sad to announce that, on April 29, 2026, at the age of 84, Lynn Short of Fulton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Short (Miller) and Cornelius D. Short; his brother Bruce Short; and his sister-in-law Ruth Short. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lou Short; his daughters, Theresa Lantz (Tim) of Mills River, NC and Josie Avina (Benny) of Wauseon; his grandchildren, Morgan Black (Ryan), Jared Avina (Esther), Preston Lantz (Adrienne), Brady Michalkiewicz (Garrett), Mikala Avina (Alec Lymanstall) and Mitchell Avina (Kate); and his siblings, Beverly Short (Reimar Geotzke), Julie Short (Dennis Grossman) and Rick Short (Teresa).
The family suggests that memorials be given to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).
