She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kies and Edith Kies; and her brother Paul Kies. She is survived by: her husband Dietmar Gerhard Poelzing; her children, Dietmar Paul Poelzing (Michele) and Renata Norris (John); her grandchildren, Joshua Poelzing, Alana Poelzing and Elise Norris; and her sister Marlisa Kalb (Robert). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
