“Frances was my mother Emma's cousin. They were like sisters growing up. In the last few years she was my telephone friend. We would check on each other every few months. She sent me a plant when I had knee surgery and I would send her cards and a present on birthdays and holidays. She was a dear, dear, person. I will certainly miss her friendship.”
