It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Bailey of Gahanna, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Bailey and Dale Bailey; his brother Glenn Bailey; his sister-in-law Susan Schulz Bailey; and his former wife Judith Craig Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rudge-Bailey of Gahanna; his sons, Josh Bailey (Alice) of Gahanna and Jeremy Bailey of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Tommy and Katie; his stepson Colonel Travis Rudge; his stepgranddaughter Ashlyn; and his stepdaughter Emily Rudge Revis (Brad) of Washington, DC. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
