He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Kathryn Witter (Pearman) and Charles Elmer Witter; and his wife Karen June Witter (Gibson). He is survived by: his daughter Cindi Strahler; his son-in-law Joel Strahler; his grandchildren, Jacob Strahler (Cailey) and Emma Wolfe (Tommy); his daughter Sara Erfle; his son-in-law Brad Erfle; and his grandchildren, Duncan Erfle and Evelyn Erfle.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Harlem Township Grange Hall in Galena, Ohio (12900 Center Village Rd, Galena, OH 43021).
If desired, donations can be made in his memory to the Mountain Arts Center of Prestonburg, Kentucky.
