He is survived by: his wife Ellaine; his children, Rita Weaver, Jerry Coy, Carol Coy, Cheryl Coy, Greg Coy (Lisa), Marsha Hackler (Ralph) and Lynn Whites; his grandchildren, Karen (Dave), Christopher, Abbi (Clay), Deserae (Chad), Scott (Jenny), Ashley (Brandon), Justin, Shelby (Mike), Jamie, Staci, Danielle and Shawn (Alana); and his brother Bill Coy (Pat). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Richardson Davis Chapel (218 S Market St, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
