He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Macklin and Hope Macklin (Thompson); his siblings, Jeri Burns, Cathy Davis and Lynn Sherman; and his son-in-law Kevin Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Deb" Macklin (Murphy); and his children, Melissa Stewart of Galion and Aaron Macklin (Angela) of Mansfield. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
