He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles E. Jr. Skinner and Jean P. Skinner (Cook); and his brother Charles Skinner, III. He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Skinner (Antoline); his daughters, Michelle Kent (Dustin) of Delaware and Amy Stoneking (Joe) of Chicago, Illinois; his granddaughters, Cali and Lexi Kent; and his siblings, Mary Anne Wibbenmeyer (Kenneth) of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Michael J. Skinner (Ann) of Raleigh, Timothy J. Skinner (Pam) of The Villages and David Scott Skinner (Natasha) of Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
