He was predeceased by: his father Norman Rupe; his stepmother Mary Rupe (Mansfield); his brother Norman "Paul" Rupe Jr.; and his grandparents, Paul Rupe Sr. and Edna Rupe.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Rupe (McIe); his friend Lisa Sullivan (Brian Grimwood) of Galion; and his siblings, Cindy Shipman (Jeff) and Buddy Rupe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, foster children, and friends.
