With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Keith Remy (Galion, Ohio), born in Mansfield, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Remy and Dorothy Scott; his brother Ronald Remy; his aunt Evelyn Zumstag; his mother-in-law Laverne Bacot (Fowler); his siblings-in-law, Vincent "Bing" Fowler, Dale Fadley, Raymond Bauman, Joyce Fadley (Fowler) and Kathy Bauman (Fowler); and his nieces and nephews, Todd Remy, David Fowler, Cindy Remy and Colleen Bauman.
He is survived by: his wife Mardell Remy (Fowler); his children, Chad Remy (Lisa), Linda Sanders (Jeff), Cindy Bright (Troy), Beth McElligott (Terry) and Mike Remy (Jessie); and his grandchildren, Andy Remy, Sam Remy, Rachel Cole, Jacob Remy, Amber Dye, Allen Sanders, Colby Bright, Darin Bright, Troy Jr. Bright, Cameron Bright, Jeremiah Bright, Marcus Blair, Houston Blair, Michael McElligott, Max McElligott and Kelly McElligott. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Christian Life Center at Grace Point Church (683 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833).
