It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Alberty (Galion, Ohio), born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Alberty and Mary Alberty (Foley); his stepfather Billy Chapman; and his brothers, Marlin Alberty and Bill Jack Chapman.

He is survived by : his spouse Rieko Amy Oyakwa; his children, Louie Alberty (Allison), Kenje Alberty (Ashley) and Jodi Britt (Shawn); his grandchildren, Olivia, Morgan, Ryder, Bella, Paislee, Lily, Kane, Lincoln Alberty, Courtney, Brandon and Dylan Britt; his brothers, Bobby and Tom Alberty (Diane); and his sister-in-law Linda Alberty.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Richardson Davis Chapel (218 S Market St, Galion, OH 44833).
