She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Coats and Johnie Coats (Castleberry); her husband Richard D. "Dick" Johnston; her stepfather Paul Green; and her siblings, Carol Shrader, Merlyn, Bill and Bobby Coats.
She is survived by: her children, Tracie Wittibslager (Bob) of Galion, Kelly Johnston of Galion and Joe Johnston (Sandy) of Gulfport, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Miranda Monk (Gabe), Abbie Phelps (Chad), Megan Campbell (Brian), Skylar Henwood (Griffin Kinney) and Alex Finley (Jonathon); her great grandchildren, Adyson Monk, Seth Monk, Liam Campbell, Nora Campbell, Lily Campbell and Haley Phelps; her great great grandchild Olivia Carroll; and her sisters, Mary Heminger and Paulette Hankins.
