It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raoul Henry LaChance of Galion, Ohio, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raoul Henry LaChance to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva "Jack" LaChance and Ruth LaChance (Simmermacher); his brother Alva LaChance II; and his grandson Hunter LaChance. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his sons, David LaChance (Lori) of Galion and Richard LaChance of Galion; his grandchildren, Monica Steele (Cody) of Cincinnati, Evan LaChance of Galion and Ryan LaChance (Katie Redmon) of Odessa, FL.; and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Meyer and Ryder Steele.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gompf Funeral Service - Galion Chapel (303 Portland Way N, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Honor Flight or to the Christ Covenant Global Methodist Church.
