He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hart and Edna Hart (Gerstanlager); his siblings, Anne (Forest Stinehour), Donald Hart and Kenneth Hart; and his sister-in-law Jewel Hart.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Chris Hart, Melissa Cassidy (Rocky) and Holly Walters (Eric); his stepchildren, Cary Ogello (Herbert), Nikki Horvath (Eric) and Bryan Mesnard (Dawn); his grandchildren, Taylor Ullom, Haley Gold (Brian), Jacob Barnhart, Sierra Walters and Raygan Ciballi (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Gracie, Nash and Walker Gold; and his brother David Hart.
