He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Smith and Mari Lynn J. Smith; and his brother-in-law Nicholas Carbetta. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Smith (Christina) and Elizabeth Rhea (Matthew); his stepsons, Samuel Parks and Leonard Parks (Melody); his siblings, Lisa Shinaberry (Lynn), Ed Smith, Laurie Carbetta and Steve Smith (Lynette Thomas); his grandchildren, Ophelia Smith and Kaylee Rhea; and his caregiver Wendy Eddleblute. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews, and many loved family and friends.
