It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rolland Smith (Galion, Ohio), born in Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly J. Spears; his daughter Tamara Ghent; and his brothers, Robert Smith and Darrell Smith. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Gardner (Theresa) of Crestline, Jeffery Smith (Brenda) of Crestline, Douglas Smith (Tracy) of Crestline and Timothy Smith of Crestline; and his brother Don Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Richardson Davis Chapel (218 S Market St, Galion, OH 44833). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crawford County Memory Gardens (6594 Old Lincoln Hwy, Crestline, OH 44827).
