With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Jill Humphrey of Galion, Ohio, born in Crestline, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna E. Palmer (Volk) and Gilbert D. Palmer; her husband Charles W. Humphrey; her parents-in-law, Laura D. Humphrey Fox (Lehman) and Charles M. Humphrey; her stepfather-in-law William Fox; her niece Tamara Drumm; and her sisters, Mona Estes (Jack) of Tucson, AZ, Priscilla Gussie Thoman (William) of Mount Vernon, OH and Charlotte Kay Stevens (Samuel).
She is survived by: her children, Susan J. Shaffer (Randy) of Norwalk, OH and Charles Wayne Jr. of Galion, OH.; her grandchildren, Derrick Schiefer of Galion, OH and Amanda Humphrey of Norwalk, OH; her sisters, Alesha Humphrey-Kunk (Jonathan) of New Carlisle and Starr Humphrey-Shaffer of Norwalk, OH; her great grandchild Adalyn J. Humphrey of Norwalk, OH.; her siblings, Constance Ashley (Don) of Rock Hill, SC., Nancy Palmer and Terrence Palmer; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Fox (Kathy) of Staunton, IL, William Fox (Janice) of Candlewood Lake, OH, Ruth Ann Drumm (Humphrey) of Galion, OH and Richard Fox.
In lieu of flowers any donations to the family can be put in care of Edwards Funeral Home.
