Amanda Gail (Wothe) Shamblin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amanda Gail (Wothe) Shamblin of Gallipolis, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Amanda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Amanda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Donald, Margaret Wothe and Earl Jack Miller. She is survived by: her parents, Donald Wothe and Pamela Wothe; her spouse Bray Shamblin; her grandmother Shirley Miller; and her parents-in-law, Dwight and Terry Shamblin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gallipolis Christian Church (4486 OH-588, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for future education be made to the Savings Accounts of Lincoln Shamblin, Olive Shamblin, and Henry Shamblin at Peoples Bank, 349 Third Avenue, Gallipolis, OH 45631.
