It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Lou Duncan of Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Zelma Christy (Litchfield); her siblings, Mary Kinniard, Connie McCallister, Edna Bernice Gillispie (Carl), Carol Ann Dabney, Joe Christy and Tom Christy; and her grandson Michael "Scott" Duncan.
She is survived by: her husband David Shafer; her children, Michael Duncan (Aimee) of Apple Grove and Sandra Woods of Gallipolis, OH; her sisters, Janice Gitchell (Scott) and Lou Jeffers of Apple Grove; her grandchildren, Preston Kensler (Jennifer Holt), Allee Duncan (Chase Coen), Johnsey Woods (Emmie) and Isabella Shafer; and her great grandchild Judson.
