He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Long, Sr. and Ethel Louise Watts Long; and his siblings, Robert Long, Betty Long, Nancy Henry and Emma Polsley.
He is survived by: his sons, Sean Long of Gallipolis and Charles Scott Long of Tennessee; his brothers, David K. Long of Gallipolis, Al T. Long of Gallipolis and Mike Long (Brandy) of Gallipolis; Carmel Long of Vinton, Ohio.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
