He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Waugh (Terry) of Gallipolis and Paula Schartiger (Roger) of Gallipolis; his grandchildren, Tyler Mayne, Nathaniel White and Brandy Johnson; his great grandchild Oliver Phersen; and his siblings, Dorothy Johnson of Gallipolis, Brenda Spaulding of Gallipolis, Linda Earl (Clinton) of Gallipolis and Lenville Johnson (Connie) of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
