She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Arthur "Bob", Marjorie Saunders, Donald and Lavina Curnutte; and her brother-in-law Howie Foster.

She is survived by: her parents, Michael Ray Curnutte and Suzi Curnutte (Saunders) of Gallipolis; her husband Ryan Bates; her sons, Garrett Ray Curnutte, Eric Michael Swartz and Logan Alan Bates; her sister Mindy Foster-Saunders (Eric); and her niece Jaela Foster of Gallipolis. She is also survived by mother, devoted daughter and a sister's best friend.
