With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerald Haffelt of Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on February 13, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marable C. Haffelt and Audra Swain Haffelt; his daughter Diane Sheets; and his brother Max Haffelt. He is survived by: his wife Doris Sheets; his daughter Teresa Lee of Gallipolis; his granddaughters, Rachel McCoy (Chris), Rebekah Trulock (Andy) and Ruth Higgins (Zach); his great grandchildren, Maddie, Claire, Connor, Eliza, Tiana, Isaiah, Amarah, Audrey and Owen; his son-in-law Monte Sheets; his brother John Haffelt of Gallipolis, Ohio; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Haffelt of Crown City, Debby O'Dell (Terry) of Crown City and Phyllis Lane of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
