He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Butler Baird of Gallipolis, Ohio; his children, Angela Baird Walters of Huntington and Marvin Ray Baird; his daughter-in-law Wendy Long Baird; and his siblings, Linda Macias, Louise Woodall, Hope Armstrong, Patty Sims, Gail Baird, John Baird and Phil Baird.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens Chapel of Hope Mausoleum (1229 Neighborhood Rd, Gallipolis, OH 45631).
