We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 93, Mary A. Proffit of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ross and Ruth Ross; her husband Sgt. David Proffit; and her siblings, Bonnie Patrick and Joseph Ross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Stinnett (Randy) of Bucyrus, OH and Jacqueline Proffit (Marty) of Nashville, TN; her sibling's children, Stephen Lee (Anne), Mark Ross of Cincinnati and Patricia Lennon (Ken) of Lexington, KY; and her siblings-in-law, Joann Ross of Cincinnati, OH and Tom Proffit of Pahrump, NV..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (1100 4th Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
