He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy M. Sayre and Virginia Berkley Sayre; his spouse Darlyne Sayre (Mulford); and his siblings, Samuel, Billy, Roscoe, Jeff, Glen, Harold, Gerald "Jerry" Sayre and Janice Hebert.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Long of Middleport, Roy Allen Sayre of Ona, Cindy Hash (Scott) of Bidwell and June Sayre Edwards (Rob Hill) of Vinton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Billy Cremeans, Lisa Lemley (Jeff), Stephanie Dickens (Alex), Joseph Cremeans (Brandi Reeves), Lacey Swords (Bo), Roy Adam Sayre, Leah Sayre, Tanya Perry, Brynn Sutphin, Britani Hash, Jessica Unroe (Brett) and Clayton Curnutte; his siblings-in-law, Mary Sayre of Gallipolis and Jay Hebert of Leesville, Louisiana; his niece Joan Edwards; and his close friend Terry Burnett. He is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
