Shirley leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shirley will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Allbright and Maxine Neal Allbright; her brother James Allbright; and her sister-in-law Alice Allbright. She is survived by: her husband James M. "Jim" Doss of Gallipolis, Ohio; her daughter Patricia Kay Doss of Texas; her sister Kay Allbright of Gallipolis, Ohio; her nephews, Jimmy and Jonathan Allbright; and her niece Joanna Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Willis Funeral Home (12 Garfield Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
