He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Owens and Ruth Marlene Barker Owens; and his brother Jerry Owens. He is survived by: his wife Karen Blankenship-Owens; his daughters, Tina Owens of Morgantown and Beth Thomas (Julien) of South Carolina; his stepson Kevin Blankenship (Karen) of Gallipolis, Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Dray, Roger Warren (Brenda) of Gallipolis, Gerald Warren (Nettie) of Gallipolis and Wayne Warren (Brenda) of Albany, Ohio.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
