John Penquite Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Penquite of Galloway, Ohio, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Penquite to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Penquite and Mary Penquite (Nester); his sister Mary Francis Gerdes; and his brothers-in-law, Corwin Gerdes and David Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Penquite (Phillips); his children, Angela Penquite, Amanda Zimmerman (Michael), Craig Penquite (Sarah) and Bryan Penquite (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Emily, Grace Zimmerman, Elijah, Jordan, Analyn Penquite and William Penquite; his sister Kathy Moore; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Ferrell (Sandra), Cheryl Burchinal (James), Cinda Carter, Liesa Phillips and Carla Dougherty (Rodney). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church (9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson, OH 43162).
