She was predeceased by : her husband Donald George Powell; and her mother Ethal Banton. She is survived by : her sons, Dwight Powell (Jacqueline), Edmond Powell, Linroy Powell, Vincent Powell, Everette Powell (Lateefah) and Dexter Powell (Chrisine). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
