It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Cleland of Gambier, Ohio, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hickson and Catherine Hickson; and her brother David Hickson. She is survived by: her husband John Cleland; her children, Ann Lehman (Eric), Jay Cleland (Sonja), Troy Cleland (Melissa) and Josh Cleland Kelley; her grandchildren, Whitney Kandel (Joe Caukins), Lauren Norris (Broderick), Jeremy, Christopher Cleland, Aslinn Bartheld (Tyler), Elley and Tess Cleland; her great grandchildren, Drake, Deryka, Alyssa, Kinley Everly, Aubry, Rhett and Remis; and her siblings, Ronald Hickson and Lu Ann Bay.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Community Christian Fellowship (23436 Newcastle Rd, Gambier, OH 43022).
