It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert B. Krohn of Garrettsville, Ohio, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gilbert B. Krohn to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Krohn and Leone Krohn; and his siblings, Richard Krohn and Bonnie Savel. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Krohn; his daughters, Pamela Gerhardt (Scott) and Angela Daczko (Joe); his grandchildren, Jacqueline Rooth, Steven Rooth (Rita Moore), Nicholas Rooth (Jordan Powers), Nathaniel Daczko (Annie) and Joey Daczko; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Hunter, Haiden and Albie Rooth; and his sister Kay Hurd (Russ). He is also survived by his family, Grandchildren and especially his great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Homes - Garrettsville (8382 Center St, Garrettsville, OH 44231). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (8382 Center St, Garrettsville, OH 44231). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Westlawn Cemetery (3991 OH-82, Mantua, OH 44255).
The family has asked that consideration be given to a donation to the Mantua Historical Society, P.O. Box 220, Mantua, OH 44255, in Gil's memory.
