He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schultz and Laurel Filkins Schultz; and his sisters, Nancy and Sue. He is survived by: his wife Leah; his children, Denise Cain (Jim) and Jack Schultz; his grandchildren, Todd Cain (Jill), Tara Lawson (Jamie), Craig Schultz (Dani) and David Schultz (Kara); and his great grandchildren, Ryder Cain, Beau Cain, Lydia Lawson, Daniel Garcia, Zach Schultz, Raylan Schultz and Hudson Schultz. He is also survived by family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Garrettsville United Methodist Church (8233 Park Ave, Garrettsville, OH 44231). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
