He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet S. Mehling; his children, Michael J. Mehling, Karen Mehling-Howson (Geoff) and Timothy Mehling (Cristina); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Riley, Brendan, Joseph, Charles and Grace; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Josie and Ryder; and his siblings, Mary, Charles (Anne) and James (Diane). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
