It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathryn Ann Thurston of Geneva, Ohio, born in Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Battles and Marjorie Battles (Rice); and her brother David Battles. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Thurston; her daughters, Jill Shaw (Charles) of Geneva, Julie Vacca (Scott) of Geneva and Caryn Schneider (Jeffrey) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Emily Shaw, Lukas, Elizabeth Vacca, Keagan and Ryley Schneider; and her sister Jean Gogul (David) of Geneva.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve-Ashtabula, 1166 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
