It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer William Geil of Geneva, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Henry and Alma Marie Geil (Putzier); and his son John J (Geil). He is survived by : his wife Iris Geil (Kananen) of Geneva; his daughters, Joyce Ritchie of Orwell and Karen Portzer (Charles) of Hartsgrove; his son-in-law Wayne Ritchie of Hartsgrove; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Wayne William, Stacie, Alyssa (Andy) of Alliance, Benjamin, Megan and Kylee.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hartsgrove Community Church.
