He was predeceased by : his parents, George Arnold and Mae Arnold (Morton); his siblings, William "Bill" Arnold, Dave Arnold and Marge Mulder; his daughter-in-law Kathy Arnold; and his granddaughter Sadie Schaubert.

He is survived by : his wife Grace Duncan; his children, Robert Arnold (Teresa), Johanna "Joni" Slepsky (Greg), Richard "Rick" Arnold, Jill Serpico (Randy) and Terri Carter (Brian); his brothers, Peter Arnold and Alex Arnold (Nora); his grandchildren, Kristen Groetz (Gary), Sarah Clay (Michael), Jami Hough (Brad) and Jacob Carter; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Gage, Theodora and Hadasah (Haddie).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Saybrook Methodist Church (7900 Depot Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004). A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Saybrook Township Cemetery.
